Quality Assurance deptt. is established with the sole aim to ensure that every bag dispatched bears the quality assured by CCI. Though the Units have a very well organised production team to look into the day to day production and quality control activity but the QAE has to ensure that not even an inadvertent slippage is there as far as quality of cement dispatched is concerned. All quality assurance tests to be carried out as per the past procedure.
Moreover the cement samples of the units are to be got tested from external test laboratory of national repute such as follows :

Cement samples of Rajban are tested at SHRIRAM INSTITUTE ,DELHI and NCB BALLABHGARH |

Cement samples of Tandur are tested at NCB HYDERABAD and VIMTA LABS, HYDERABAD |
The above cement samples are tested for both Chemical & Physical tests as per their relevant BIS specification.The test certificates received from above test houses are then circulated Marketing Deptt., units, Zonal offices & Regional offices regularly.
